About Saucy Dans

2020 was the year of the lockdown, but also the year Dan got Saucy. Born out of lockdown boredom, I went from a reliable home cook to obsessing over every meal and every ingredient. Each evening became a quest to make the best dish ever, and while I got good at replicating recipes and keeping my stomach very well fed, I realized that the cheat code for any delicious meal is a flavor injection from spicy sauces. All at once, I started making my own, began fermented chilis (much to the chagrin of my girlfriend) and experimenting with different flavors. From that moment Saucy Dans came into being. 

The sauces I create are a reflection of my own preference for flavor over spiciness. Each sauce is flavor-forward - and the level of heat is carefully calibrated not to overpower the taste of the food you enjoy it with but rather to enhance it. Moreover, the 3 signature flavors span the spice scale, from the mild & smokey Kashmiri Kick or the medium hot & sweet Chai n Chill to the citrus burn of the Daamn Daniel, there's a sauce for everyone to get saucy.
